I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I’m a runner. I train daily. I still push my own limits. And I’ve spent years on the sidelines and on the field seeing the same problems repeat themselves.

I founded Lytening because hydration, recovery, and athlete safety were being treated like an afterthought, while cramps, heat illness, and burnout were becoming the norm. Outdated sports drinks and broken hydration protocols were failing athletes at every level.

What started with high school football quickly grew into working across all sports, primarily in the NCAA, alongside coaches, athletic trainers, and sports-medicine professionals. The pattern was always the same: the people responsible for protecting athletes were under-supported and expected to solve serious problems with bad tools.

Lytening was built to change that.

Hydration is only one piece of the puzzle. Our real mission is to push the boundaries of sports nutrition, advance athlete safety, and help enable the future of sports medicine with products that actually work.

We don’t build from a lab alone. We build from the field.

We spend our time talking to athletes, parents, coaches, and sports-medicine professionals to understand where the real pain points are, then we solve for them.
